Canadian Institute of Financial Planning (“CIFP”) recognized by MFDA as a Third Party Accreditor

The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada is pleased to announce the recognition of CIFP as a Third Party Accreditor for the MFDA Continuing Education Program (CE Program) which came into effect on December 1, 2021.

In its application for recognition, CIFP has demonstrated it is in compliance with the requirements under MFDA Policy No. 9. By recognizing CIFP, it is able to accredit CE activities for the MFDA CE Program. By recognizing Third Party Accreditors, the MFDA is providing flexibility and choice, which can reduce duplication with other CE programs, while maintaining high standards of accreditation.
