Investor Alert: Fraudulent websites impersonating CIRO webpage 

Be an informed investor - Protect yourself against fraudulent schemes

October 31, 2025 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) is warning investors about several fraudulent websites that are impersonating the “Investing Basics” page of the CIRO website.

These fraudulent websites use the following domains:

• https://cayoutrue[.]com

• https://caprotexnch[.]com

• https://commetpetfoods[.]com/
• https://couponthia[.]com/
• https://verhiva[.]com/
• https://riolli[.]com/
• https://casstechno[.]com/
• https://giowey[.]com/
• https://finriva[.]com/
• https://ya-clothing[.]com/

CIRO’s official website is www.ciro.ca. Investors are strongly advised to verify the web address of any site claiming to represent CIRO to ensure it uses this domain.

To Protect Yourself Against Fraud:

• Only deal with appropriately registered firms.
• Report suspicious activities where unregistered entities either claim to be regulated by CIRO or work for CIRO to CIRO immediately.
• Avoid sharing personal or financial information without confirming the legitimacy of the request.
