Updated Guidance – Schedule 9 of Form 1, Concentration of Securities 

CIRO is publishing an updated version of GN-4100-21-004 – Schedule 9 of Form 1, concentration of securities. The updated Guidance Note is effective immediately.

GN-4100-21-004 was originally published on October 14, 2021, and was carried forward from guidance issued under Dealer Member Rules. Since then, we implemented amendments to Schedule 9 that scale debt securities with a normal margin requirement of <=10% into the Schedule 9 framework. As a result, we updated the Guidance Note to ensure it provides current guidance on Schedule 9 requirements.
